Hi

When a customer comes to my site with a coupon to redeem it's quite a process for them which needs explaining :(

Is there a way that they add the purchase then just checkout, while in the checkout process have a point where they enter the coupon code. A lot of other shopping software do support this but so far I can't find a way in open cart and I want too!

At the moment I'm having to explain to a number of customers weekly about the steps to redeem their coupon code. and I have to agree it's a bit of a process not very seamless.

Having it in the checkout process would make it very seamless. any ideas? Thanks

It should be just that easy..... As they check out there is a box for the coupon, they enter the code and proceed... What extra steps does you version of open cart have them do?

Once they add product to shopping cart they then have to click into the shopping cart and do what you described.

I would prefer they add the product to shopping cart then they go instantly to checkout as they normally do and in the checkout where they type name, delivery address etc have a option in there asking to enter a coupon code.

There is a free vqmod to add the coupon code to your checkout page. Do a search for it.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
