Hi

I've had a good search of the forum to try and resolve this problem but I can't seem to get the vqmod cache to clear. At least I think that's what's happening, as I'm very new to OpenCart.

I have done the following:

- Deleted all the files from vqmod/vqcache.

- Deleted the vqmod/mods.cache file.

- Deleted the xml file from vqmod/xml.

- Checked the vqmod/logs folder for any errors.

- Installed the VQMod Manager extension and tried clearing the cache that way.

- Checked permissions.

What happens is I had some code appearing after some other code in a .tpl file, using <search position="after"> etc. It all worked fine. Then I made some changes so modified the code I put in the <add> tag. What happened was that the new code was written but the old code remained. So I had code written twice.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Check the tpl file to make sure you didn't hard code it in there at some point. Also look in your vQmod script to make sure you're not still adding it somewhere.

I did check for both those issues and there appears to be no duplication.

I expect there's a really obvious answer to this but I'm baffled as to what's happening right now.

Disable all vQmod scripts. If the issue persists you know it's not vQmod. If it goes away re-enable scripts one-at-a-time to isolate the issue. Also make sure you're on the correct server.
