The Parcel2Go Quotes API allows customers to be quoted straight from the checkout page automatically when choosing the shipping method.

// Integration

- Automatically detects provided Countries by Parcel2Go over API and compares the XML with the customer's Country code knowing if the customer is eligible to use this method during checkout. If not, customer will not be able to select this method.

- Error log event of all responses from the API. Log available in the system/logs folder.

Hi, few questions.
Any demo/screenshots of how it works?
Will a list of quotes appear under 'Delivery Method' in checkout?
Would the payment be made under my parcel2go account or the customers own?
Where will the order details be sent to? I would need a copy of the label and other details for tracking.
Will the delivery details be linked in my orders or do I have to route through and link each order to each delivery?
Thanks, Grant

Yes.

This contribution simply provides the service names with their prices and stores the selected delivery service into OC orders as it regularly does with other shipping options.

This feature is not currently available in the current release.

OC orders automatically tracks selected checkout orders for each orders already.

This contribution has now been abolished. Parcel2Go does not let merchants to edit an order information other than the delivery date while OC orders can be edited from the admin which could become a political issue. Customers can come back at anytime to redo the checkout steps on the store-front end but the order info from Parcel2Go would have to remain the same with the previous entered order information which is unlikely under PCI DSS Compliancy.

Unfortunately, it's not worth the trouble to use their API. An OC order ID needs to be associated with the API service ID. Not the other way around.
