Display specials category

Hi all,
I have created a category called "Specials" to which I manually add products.
I then go into each product and add a special option with reduced price.
My problem is that if I put a product on special for a limited period, say a week. It automatically goes back to original price but I then have to go in and manually remove it from the specials category that I created.

Is there a way that I can have a category that automatically grabs any products that are on special and includes them in that category. It seems like that would be so much easier.

was right, use the specials module, it's easier.

just to round this up, I use this one to present 'Specials', it works perfect, but it's hard to find on the Extension Pages:

They are used for individual Products, they don't cover entire (Category) Sections!
