Excluding VAT from Products

Opencart Version 1.5.2.1

When we originally set up our Ecommerce site, we included VAT in all the product prices which we uploaded. We are now wanting to separate the VAT, so that it gets included at the checkout instead.

Any advice on how to go about doing this? (I have exported our products into a spreadsheet in anticipation of altering prices so they are exc. VAT to begin with...what next?!)

Hello, u just need insert the price ex vat in product price,and select a vat class.
after go to in setting/your store/option and find a line "Display Prices With Tax:" and select no.
now all client wantch the price ex vat and when they go at checkout the system calculates the vat

look at here Demo just add a product in cart and after go to in checkout and look if are what u want.
