How to update the version number

Hi:

I just updated from 1.5.6.1 to 1.5.6.4 following the instructions found at http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=55091 but after finishing my admin site still sayd 1.5.6.1
How can I update also the version number?

change to 1.5.6.whatever...
