1.4.0 Product Options

Hello,

I've tried searching the forum i've found a couple of posts (Not Many) related to this problem mainly in the 1.4.0 annnoucments. I just wanted to confirm wether or not the Product Options are fully functional in 1.4.0 or not? So i'm not waiting for a release/fix and can see if the problem is at my end.

1.) My Options page seems to spazz out when i add too many options for a product
2.) When i add too many option values to an option product it doesn't seem to save them all (tried a couple of times)
3.) Again on 2.) Then after so many Product Options have been added to a product they will only save the first option value

Again sorry if this has already been answered but i spent 20 minutes going through the search query trying to find something related and didn't.

there is no issue with product options. if you see "spazzing out" then it may be that your product page needs to be adjusted to support many many options. Example here:

Its the actually Backend page spazzing out..the product lengths are fine and don't overlap the page.
There just not saving properly. But i will try mess around with it.

As you can see here http://www.sixdecibels.co.uk/audiointerfaces/test only some of them are saving some of them are not even displaying anything that i've entered and some are just showing a few that i entered..

have you deleted german first

I deleted the German language if thats what you wher meaning. I did it when i first got 1.4.0 up and running i can't find anything else related to German in the back-end side of the website, though there still could be some tables in the database. I will wait for the next release and fresh install again to see if that works.

Ive never seen the problem you are having. Maybe its the interface that is confusing. The new interface is terribly confusing because of the way it has the first "pending" row there. I keep thinking its an option but its just the input. This is another one of those things that was perfect in older versions like v1.2.9 and then changed for the worse in newer versions. I wish there was less changing of things that nobody wanted fixed and more fixing of the things people constantly complain about.
