Just released today: PayFlow Pro Payment Extension

This adds PayPal PayFlow Pro support to OpenCart 1.4.0.

This Payment Extension is only really useful if you have the PayPal PayFlow Pro service and want to use OpenCart. Now you can. Not a mod and (generally) fits with the main flow of how the developers like to code (i.e. I'm hoping they integrate this code into the core distribution).

Thanks! Hopefully lots of people will benefit and get more followers of OpenCart as a result.

no. They are 2 different services that do similar things for different prices. Paypal is just retarded like that.

PayFlow was originally a Verisign service. When PayPal bought Verisign in 2005, they inherited PayFlow.

eBay, PayPal, and Verisign. Together. Somehow that makes me uncomfortable. At any rate...

When PayFlow was strictly Verisign, it was a crappy service but used to be one of the only services for e-commerce (before PayPal even existed). They required everyone to use a Java SDK.

I used the Payments Pro code in OpenCart as a starting point for the PayFlow Pro code since they are now fairly similar but different enough to warrant its own Payment Extension.

The link to the PayFlow Pro contribution leads to "Page Not Found." Is there a place where I may find it?
I'm evaluating OpenCart and finding lots to like. PayFlow Pro support would pretty well clinch the deal.

I too am looking for a PayFlow Pro extension. Just inherited a customer that likes to use it and would really like to make it work with OpenCart.

Anyone know where payflow's extension went?

I am looking to use Payflow Pro with Opencart. Is there a module out there, I can't seem to find any mention of it. I looked through Qphoria's store and he doesn't even have a module for it so that tells me there are problems integrating it.

Thanks for any help.

heh.. Payflow is a bit of a PITA.. I'll have to take another look at it but I remember it being annoying to code so I didn't bother

Hehe, I figured I might get a reaction from you Qphoric. :)

I have integrated Payflow Pro using ASP.NET and the Payflow SDK, but never for PHP and I am new to Opencart so I hesitate to jump in and build the module myself atm. It does seem very similar to the PayPal Payments Pro UK setup. I'll have a look to see if I can build this myself once I get the go-ahead from the client. But I wonder what happened to the Extension that was built by payflow (http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?t=8857) last year and why it isn't available anymore. This being an open source project and all...

A little more digging and I did find it in the download of all the archived extensions!
