Hi all,

When I go to System > Settings > Edit and then click Save (with or without making any changes), it gives me a page not found error.

This OpenCart system was maintained by someone else and I guess they deleted some files. Can someone tell me which files are required, in the admin, to save the Settings so I can try to restore?

I am using 1.5.6.1 version.

Thank you

Hi

When I am on this page: admin/index.php?route=setting/setting&token=xxx and I click "Save" it just reloads to admin/index.php?route=setting/setting&token=xxx and it shows this page: http://d.pr/i/wDZc/5tURYZg6

The .htaccess as some information there required for SEO purposes mostly. If I empty the .htaccess it goes to the same URL but it shows me this: http://d.pr/i/OWzi/nr9K7ei1

What are the dependable files from /admin/index.php or event setting/setting? Can this be the problem?

Many thanks.

Hi nvedia,

Yes, I have that path with 2 files on it and updated as per 1.5.6.1 version: http://d.pr/i/ztHB/4j6TagxE

Just to make sure you understand my problem, I can access to the page without any problems: http://d.pr/i/XGmb/3PSsiQfl
The problem is when it saves, it gives the error.

may be the problem in .htaccess. if you use folder to store your file web in your host, add your folder name in
RewriteBase /yourfolder

Solved for me ... my shared web host had decided to enable mod_security.

Turned off mod_security and all was perfect.
