Custom NoPrice Text

This extension replaces the zero price (e.g.: $0.00) with a custom text (e.g.: 2014.04.03 -, Ordered or Arrival). It's useful when you know the date of arrival of the product or you want to share other important information with your customers. These are so things by what your purchasers can give you a vote of more confidence and return to purchase onto your website. This means more sales. You can set the replacing for every product or just few products where the price is zero. The last status is the single product status. At this case there will be the NoPrice Text field on Product / Data page in admin whose content will be appear instead of the zero price. At the every product status the NoPrice Text field displays in its module edit page below the status. You can hide the cart button. The outcome of the settings appear in everywhere where there is a product: Compare page, Manufacturer page, Search page, Special page, Category page, Product page, Module block.

Prerequirements:

- vQmod (2.3.2)

Update:

- Connect using a FTP program to your hosting/server account and browse the root of your OpenCart installation folder.
- Upload contents of "upload" folder to OpenCart's root folder. If you get file replacement warnings, double check to make sure you are not replacing any critical files (if you had an older version of the modules already installed, you will need to replace the old files).
- Enter OpenCart's administration menu, Extensions > Modules and "Edit" the module
- Save your settings

Installation:

- First you need install vQmod (http://code.google.com/p/vqmod/)
- Extract the downloaded archive

I just purchased this module and I get a lot of errors on the product page as well as when I try to add the custom text in admin. Am I supposed to add fields to the database in order for this extension to work?

Oh... using Opencart version 1.5.6

Hey pappco, I figured out how to properly install this mod, my fault. I had to run the install.php file in a browser to edit the database. You should include this in your install instructions to avoid future confusion. If I haden't opened the install.php file, I wouldn't have known to do this step.

I had a module that replaces the 0 value with no 0 value showing on my products(no price shown).I had many options so I usually set the price value to 0. What would be the scenario if i purchase your module? Will it work and do you think it wont have a conflict on the first module I had? I would like my products that has a zero value to show the text "view options" instead of a no price shown on it. Would it be possible to have it re-directed to the product page when text value is click? Thanks.
