Hi,

I'm trying to apply the information layout to a sub category and it still wants to list products as if it was to the default layout.

This is what I want: http://www.modepc.ca/shop/services
On this page and another one: http://www.modepc.ca/shop/services/serv ... e-distance

Thanks in advance

You're mixing apples and salamanders. Categorical "foreach" loops insert products, that is what they are supposed to do, that is what they do do. Information does not have those loops. If you do not want products, do not use (sub)categories.

Thank you for the reply but I'm not sure I understand.

I'm trying to have sub categories just to give information on two of those pages.

Services> Workshop (I want product)
Services> On-Site (I want info only) I don't want to see "There are no products to list in this category."
Services> Online (I want info only) I don't want to see "There are no products to list in this category."

If I click on services it seems to be the only one that when I apply the "information" layout in the design tab of that category that removes the "There are no products to list in this category.".

I will apply the information layout to another category to show you that for some reason it still appears.

You might try admin Extensions / Modules / Welcome (add, edit, and save each module) set to appear top.
