I am using OpenCart 1.5.5.1 and Edit has vanished admin>sales>order>edit
On 13-March-2014 I used Edit but after that this option has vanished. Kindly help to restore Edit.

Did you install anything requiring that admin privileges be reset? That was order editing. Presumably all editing is not dead. Try going into admin System / Users / User Groups / for the top level admin and edit Permissions so that in both boxes you can Select All and Save.
