Been using OC for several years now but I have to ask.... why do we upload a brand logo in the admin but it doesn't show up anywhere?
I would at least think it would show up in the brand listing section and on the all products list of a certain brand. Wouldn't be bad on the product page too.
I've found code and a few extensions to do this but why isn't this working by default?

Some themes show it and it is used the in carousel mod by default.
Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.

On my current template if I click on "Brands" in the bottom menu, all the manufacturers are listed alphabetically but none of the logo images show.
Is it possible to change something to have the logo that is input in Manufacturers on the admin side, show up on the site?
Any feedback would be appreciated!

There are a bunch of mods for MFG images all over the place out there. There is no desc box on brands though, while youre at it, find a mod for that so they act like categories.
Off topic sorta, I also wonder: why is there an image option type that allows you to upload images then renders as a select box.......................... ...... . ........... .... . strange choices :S

Its one of those things of OC that was just never completed and it requires code work to get it activated and functional.
There are quite a few things like this in OC actually, if you want it activated it needs extended Often its a very simple change to the code, and most people use vQmod to do this.

I tried to install vQmod and it brought down my site and needed to restore a backup to get it working again so I'm a bit reluctant to try to install it again...that's why I wondered whether anyone knew what code needed to be added...
If you open this VQmod and check out the code its adding/editing, then mimic it in the target files, it should work. Download it and open with notepad++ or something. You can see the code VQmods add by looking at the .xml file, itll tell you what to do step by step.
Not sure how VQ could bring down your site unless you are running ancient OC, or have permissions wrong. Ive installed it like 50 times on all kinds of stores with no issue
