downloadable products

hi
i am still having trouble with downloadable products i have followed the instructions
but i still cant upload a file through opencart i have tried it as a pdf file and a zip file but still no upload
any help or info please

In your last post you stated that you had successfully uploaded files but couldn't figure out how to link them.

Now you are saying you still can't upload

Which is it? And which OpenCart version are you using?

the last time i uploaded through ftp to my server but i could not lik the download
i am trying to upload through opencart the version is 1.5.6.1
i am still having trouble with the downloadable side of things

As far as I know, to attach a download to a product it needs to be inserted in Admin > Catalog > Downloads. If you are having problems getting that to work then best to start there. By default it should be working. If it's not, perhaps a php setting or some permissions need adjusting.
