Smartphone accessory Shop

Hello Members,

We are about to go online with our webshop when we added all our products but we were wondering what you all think of this opencart 1.5.6 Webshop. It is our first webshop and we made it customer friendly as possible.

Still working on some options so hope to go online soon!

We are using the IP because of the google results to the opencart forum.

It seems that I'm always critical of sites that I see on this forum, but again, the intention here is to help - not bully you - so please keep that in mind.

- I have no idea what you do in <5 seconds on visiting the site. I would add some h1 text as close to the top as you can that says "Hi, we're XXX and we sell YYY" so it's very clear, even to your least attentive customer, what you do and what you sell.

- Not a fan of the green on blue checkmarks in the header, they are hard to see - also the cursive font is not as readable as it could be. Consider going to a not-cursive font.

- Is right clicking disabled on page? lol.

- Your banner isn't loading. Big spinning wheel ATM.

- New products section totally not the same color scheme/font/etc. Doesn't match the rest of the design.

- The white on near-white text in the footer area is hard to read.

- The "reflection" on the live chat button is terrible.

- Customer testimonials would be nice on the home page.

- More pictures of your product on the homepage would be nice.

- Not going to say anything about "under construction" banner.

- Side tabs with facebook, twitter is lame - everybody does that.

- logo is cool

- checkout new fonts @ google.com/fonts

-more fresh content on the homepage/every page would be nice to see. Maybe a blog feed.

Hopefully all this was helpful, I look forward to seeing if you use any of my suggestions.

Thnx for the feedback. We already adjusted some thing like the green checks in the header.

Just solved the javascript issue so were going to build a nice slideshow with many pictures of the products we sell. We are looking for some fresh content for the other pages en looking in the google fonts for any modification to the fonts.

The slide show is not used very much in the Netherlands so we are leaving that haha
