Hi,

I've used opencart a few times before and usually been able to solve most problems but this one has me stumped.

I am currently building a test store just to see how it will look for a relative who wants to start up a small business. Mostly the admin panel is working just fine and I can change all settings, add product details etc but almost everytime I click to browse and add an image either to a product, category or even a logo opencart seems to freeze for a few seconds while loading the image previews in image manager then logs me out.

I've never encountered this before when setting up a store, I've posted an image below of what is happening.

I am using version 1.5.6

Any ideas?

chill, you won't need 3 similar topics. you are probably having some corrupted files or something along that line. try uploading all the files for the filemanager again

I have absolutely no idea how I've ended up with 3 posts as this is my 1st ever post on this forum and it had to be approved before posting! (and yes I did only click the submit button once)

I'll try reuploading all the files and post back.

Thanks

Edit.

Still the same problem. Never had this before so I have no idea whats causing it. Guess I should try a complete re-installation.

I'm using google chrome and it happens almost every time, when I log in using firefox it only happens occasionally. Could it be a browser issue?

Scrap the above as it's happening on all browsers now. Guess I must have just dropped lucky a few times on firefox.

i can't remember why, but I seem to have seen this issue by someone else before. It's something rather simple, if i didn't remember wrongly. can you try checking your error logs for error?

I've done a full re-install to see if this helps, as it's only a testing site its no big deal but I just wondered if it was me or if there was a bug in V.1.5.6.

I'll let you know if the problem is resolved.

Seems to be working ok now after re-install, guess it must have been corrupted files or something.

Thanks for the replies.

I have this exact problem on 1.5.6.1 and it it is driving me mad. I have tried everything bar reinstalling which is not an option until ALL other options are gone.

I would be incredibly grateful for some experienced assistance to methodically track down this issue, I am apparently not able to find it by myself. ???

The site: offroadtouring.se

Thanks!

Unfortunately the only thing that cured this problem was a full reinstallation. Files must have been corrupted during the upload/install process.
I would suggest that as it doesn't look like you have much content on your site yet anyway and you can back up everything you do have.

Sorry I can't help more as I am no longer running my site due to other projects.
