I have a tax class that takes 16% off the price, so does not add to the price.
I've priced all my products including vat, but when a custumer lives in a special zone he gets 16% discount.
The only problem is that on the checkout/cart page and the cart module, the product price is right, but the order total price is the price without -16%...
Who can help me?

Your page seems to be in the Dutch language. If you are in the Netherlands, I don't believe it is legal to do what you are attempting. Customers are entitled by law to have an accounting of how much they have paid in VAT on their purchase.
There are many discussions here that discuss how to best display prices with VAT or without VAT in order to satisfy both your customers and the law.

Please use proper English at all times, so that all members may understand you.
you dont give a tax discount of -16% for a "special zone".
You should use geo zones to not apply ANY tax to that special zone instead.
You can not manipulate tax calculations in this way, as 1) its illegal and 2) its stupid.
And in reply to your incorrect total pricing. It is because -16% is not the same as +16%.
To reverse percentages you should use fractions or the decimal version.
100 - 16% = 84
84 + 16% = 97.44.
Please understand how percentages work, and please do not manipulate tax calculations to give discounts.

If you're required by law to show tax itemization then it isn't up to the owner. Putting that aside, from a logistics standpoint it's a really bad idea to do taxes the way he did. When VAT goes up he'll be forced to reprice every single one of his products.

I agree, I mean, who puts tax on products online, in fact, I don't even think you legally have to, there was a bill or something of the sort, passed in California I think, requiring all online purchases to taxed, but I don't think this is widespread.
That is actually a good question... I was wondering the exact same thingdanialpaul1 wrote:M wrote:why its upto dealer or seller, who has right to decide for discount, I guess, there owner !
