RE: Product Options

As we are new, we don't hold a huge amount of stock as of yet, so I am trying to be as efficient as possible to ensure we aren't caught out with people ordering what we don't have.

We sell electronic cigarette kits, but at the moment they don't come with liquid. The only reason for this is because we have no way of linking one product to another product, and get it to remove stock from that product code.

What we are trying to achieve is someone goes on our staple electronic cigarette starter kit, and they can't select a liquid, so we have a message that prompts them to add some liquid to their cart after they have added the kit.

When they go on the UK e liquid category, they can then select a flavour and strength.

Essentially, we want a kit page that will allow customers to select a kit colour, then a liquid flavour / strength, and for the liquid they choose to remove from our stock holding on the liquid page. Also the atomiser colour to then deduct stock from the product that has the atomisers on their own.



Anyone got any ideas?

Not sure if this would fit your requirements. It basically links the stock of a product to another product or product to another option, or option to another option.
