Hi guys, I think I need directions on telling opencart to return a 404. My google webmaster tools tells me the following about certain crawl errors:

"Your server returns a code other than 404 or 410 for a non-existent page (or redirecting users to another page, such as the homepage, instead of returning a 404). This creates a poor experience for searchers and search engines."

IDK if it matters, but my website has url friendly seo and my I have changed the file in the root directory to .htaccess

Interesting......these errors are from 1-29-14

How can tell that they are stating 404's (I probably don't understand the terminolgy)

Here is one of the links Webmaster tools is saying this: "The target URL doesn't exist, but your server is not returning a 404 (file not found) error. " https://www.persnicketees.com/index.php ... gn-Artists

I'm also not sure why some of the links it finds are not url friendly seo...as most of them are.

Thanks for your help!
