Just uploaded the 'Bare' template, I think this might work better for my type of store. I just need to make a few minor adjustments I think--down towards the bottom of the store, the footer I think needs to be resized. Where in the stylesheet would I look in order to accomplish this?

Oooh weeee--I'm getting there, how do I change the background for the product thumbnails to make the images transparent?

Alright, still working on it...can someone look at my site and tell me why the footer is a different shade from the header? I used the same HEX code for both.

It is the same color, just look at it directly without the downward angle.

Downward angle, what's that supposed to mean?

OMG, I look at it from the bottom up and it's OK. Why does it do that?

Any tips on how to get rid of the white color behind those thumbnails?

bare.css line 293 has a 5px white border, but I hate to tell you there's white on the top and bottom of the pics themselves even after you remove the border.

Thanks very much for your reply!

So do you think it's the size of my pictures, or is there really nothing more to do with it besides remove that 5px border?

Two things you can do after tuning off the border.
1. Make your images with transparent background .png files.
Or
2. Make your images with the background color they will display on.

Just removing the 5px border did the trick, thanks!

So why does the color change like that?

Can the font styles and container background color be changed for this template? And the tabs..can they be put in the top header bar thing so the logo can span the entire width of the top of the store?

All font styles can be changed in the css file. If there is no style for text in a class you can add it in. Or add a class if needed. Background for the container can be changed in the container class close to the top of the css file.

I don't care for the new tabbed template and will be making a new template that follows the old theme. With my current schedule I won't have it done until Monday. If you want a copy (No Charge) PM me with your email and I'll send it to you when I'm done.

I'll go look again, but I think I'll have to add this stuff 'cause I just plain did not see it there. That's OK, it will be a learning experience, thanks!
