Installing new theme for a store already active

Hello ,

I have a store with Opencart . The shop is active.
There are about 120 products entered, settings shipments and payments already made and the different modules that are already installed ( Seo , Footer , Filter, etc ) . I currently use the default theme for Opencart .
I wanted to know if the installation of new theme involves :
- Loss of the products entered and technical data sheets .
- Loss indexing on Google
- Loss or conflicts with extensions already installed
In general, I wanted to know if the installation of the new theme for a store already working creates problems.
There are some recommended steps that must be done before installing the new theme to avoid the problems that I have written above or additional problems ?

No products/settings loss will occur if a theme is installed

Maybe there will be some problems with some vqmods/extensions but this will depend on what theme you choose and what extensions you have installed.

A template that is well coded and respects opencart's default coding style shouldn't give you problems. So be carefull on what template ypu choose. Usually themecrapforest templates are a pain in the a**.

The theme that I'm going to install is Egestas (KulerThemes).

On the default theme installed some modules / extensions that I think could create some problems. In particular, the module footer and menu.

If I proceed with the uninstallation of modules / extensions that I believe can create problems and proceed with the installation of the new theme Egestas, can be a solution to avoid problems?

You can install the them...se what problems will occur and after you should proceed to disable/fixing extensions
