Payment Module configuration

With Opencart software, if I have an already established credit card merchant account for cc transactions and has open source with which they provide the NVP Transaction Processing API do I need to have someone create a module or is that something that can be done within the Opencart?

Where do I go from here?

You need a module, but the good thing is there might allready be one out there for opencart, serch the name of your payment processor in the opencart extension directory.

Yes, It's not there. What does it cost typically to create a module for this with my API information?
