I haven't been posting any extension recently so I thought I would post one just now
Presenting.... "Password at Checkout For Better Security" - I couldn't think of a cool name, so I kept it self-explanitory!
It does what it says in the title:
As an online shop owner it is kind of like a battle at times: Shop Keeper vs Internet/Fraudulent Hackers. Also as a shop keeper it is important to try and keep your customers and your store safe from the smallest of hacks.
This extension can help and provide you with that little bit more security. This extension requires that all logged in users MUST insert their password before being able to reach the final checkout stage.
This can prevent un-authorized orders being made if an account was hacked, or if a user stayed signed in on a public computer/mobile device.
Here are some of the features:
✔ VQMod enabled, so none of OpenCart's core files will be modified
✔ Uses AJAX requests with jQuery to verify the password, so pages don't need to reload constantly when verifying
✔ Will work with all payment gateways included with OpenCart at the checkout stage
✔ Will hide for guest checkout (as a guest doesn't require a password)
✔ It can be easily disabled by removing the XML file
✔ No Install or Database changes are required
✔ Comes with a warreny, so if the extension doesn't work with your template or payment gateway, we'll fix it!
