Hello All! :)

Here is my latest freebie of the week!
This free extension is probably one of the neatest extensions we have developed yet. It takes literally 30 seconds to install and because it is VQMod powered, no core files are overwritten.

The Mailcheck extension simply analisyes each email that your user enters in the registration page before submiting. It checks for common errors in an email domain and returns with a suggestion saying "Did you mean...". So if I enter peter@lve.com, the suggestion will be live.com. The message is not in your face or off-putting, it is a sleek message which fades in underneath the email field.

It supports all of the top email providers like Live, Hotmail, Gmail/Googlemail, Yahoo, AOL, me, and a few others.

The extension runs off of the Mailcheck API developed by Kicksend. The original course is on Github:
https://github.com/Kicksend/mailcheck
The API is used by some companies like DropBox and Minecraft

I do not claim I created the mailcheck, I just implemented it with OpenCart using VQMod.

Because there are so many domains available you can alter the domain list (see the documentation for details). However if you wish to add domains without adding them yourself then please Tweet me @OpenCart_UK and I will add it on to the next release.

If you have any questions please leave a post below!

Thanks and enjoy!
Peter :)
