MultiMerch – Multi Vendor Marketplace Extension for OpenCart

It's been over a year of development now so I thought I'll post it here, too

MultiMerch Digital Marketplace is an OpenCart extension to transform a simple store into a full-blown multivendor marketplace.

Front office seller area makes it easy to use MultiMerch with custom OpenCart themes styling it to suit your needs and make the seller experience as seamless as possible without having to provide any admin area access.

Extensive configuration lets you fine-tune various areas of your store to perfectly suit your needs: over 50 configuration settings make it possible to tweak your store – decide if you want to approve new sellers or products manually, specify custom product fields, price, file and image restrictions, disable certain categories, control payout requests, configure product comments and much more!

Guess I'll share some updates since the time of the original posting

First of all, MultiMerch Shipping Edition has been released, and is now available both from OpenCart and our website! It's quite awesome and supports the following additional features:

• Custom shipping methods defined by the store owner
• Fixed per-product shipping
• Combined shipping per weight
• Geozone-dependent shipping rates
• Minicart shipping estimation
• Possibility to add tracking number and information

So, in short, it allows your vendors to specify per-product per-geozone per-method rates, e.g. Product 1 + Europe + DHL = $25, just like Ebay does! The customers then choose a desired shipping method for each of the products during checkout. For more information, see the description on OpenCart or our site.

For Digital Marketplace, the following new features have been implemented since the release: seller badges, improved product attributes integrated with OpenCart's attribute system, RTE support for text fields and custom settings for various image sizes. We're now working on PayPal Adaptive payments, product options, private messaging system, decent sorts/filters, recurring payments and much more.

a problem with paypal adaptive...
when checkout using paypal adaptive.. even if the buyer didnt pay using paypal ( just go to the page of paypal checkout) an order apear on last order! how to solve this problem?!

Took me a while to write this update. PayPal Adaptive issues are fixed and we're now discussing this with PayPal to make it easier for our clients to apply for the Adaptive API access.

The next version will finally include seller options

Do you support below features:
1. Product attributes input from front-end. (Your demo cannot see this)
2. Seller can select which payment gateway to use.
3. On checkout page, system can separate order to different seller. Buyer has option just one payment to pay, or pay different order.
4. Your extension shows for digital product. Is it good for other physical products?
