New Website with two platform

I have created this website http://famastudio.it by in Wordpress template, now my wish would be to put opencart pages for sell services, what do you advise me to get all 2 active platforms?

Either (a) one in domain root and one in its own directory or (b) each in its own directory, where it can moreover be addressed by its own subdomain name if you wish, with instead a landing page in the domain root. I happen to prefer (b) for several reasons.

Since you are using wordpress find and get rid of the file whereami.cgi, it is an open door to hackers.
