Hi
I have been able to Set up the categories and products manually, and they show up right too
(thannks to the extensive documentation)
Just wondering if it is possible to import product data in bulk via xml
I dont see an option to "import" product within the Opencard Dashboard.
Please advice
thank you
Best Regards
Hi,
Store Manager extension will give you the ability to bulk Import and update product data from .csv, .txt, .xls, .xml
Also it is possible to import data automatically from file using this extension and it's addon called Automated Product Import.
For more information, see the article - http://www.opencartmanager.com/useful-a ... -smoothly/
There is fully functional 2-weeks free version of the application. Further to use the applications you will have to purchase them, but you pay only once and use the license lifetime.

@ Xyph3. Thank you. I checked into the extensions.
I am trying to teach myself, and donot operate a store per se. So I donot have the budget to purchase extensions.
:-(
There seems to be about 5 pages of free extensions. Let me check on them
@ Constantino Thank you. I will try the 2 weeks trial.
That said, i looked into the pricing.. its very expensive for me, and not really very useful to me personally, as i don't have a store. I am merely teaching myself. But if i have to recommend this to a client (who is willing to pay), then i should be able to demonstrate that this works. Anyways.. i will try the 2 weeks trial.

@Constantino
I undersrtand from the Store manager documentation that
"--Store Manager is a Windows application (not pxp extension) and should be installed on your computer--" is a big put off for me. I dont want to install anything on my computer .. and would prefer an extension (which i can upload via FTP) and use.
Not just that.. I dont think my client would want to install anything. I work remotely (from home) and I will not be able to go to my client's location to set up the installation, configuration, or troubleshoot. So, would not work for me
Anyways, thanks for taking the time and letting me know about this
Thanks again for the response
