With catalog/view/theme/althaina/ that is nice but it needs contrast. Pastels and greys on white are not adequate.

You can plow through the catalog/view/theme/althaina/stylesheet/stylesheet.css and make many of your changes. It appears that you have perhaps made some already. In the "footer" portions you can darken the background grey enough to bring out the white lettering. Where the Bestellen buttons flip grey/orange you can lighten the grey or pick a color that works well with the black text and with the orange flip. In the very top you see bold white against black. In the footer and main body areas you can try font-weight: bold; and see how that grabs you. Generally, the lettering is thin stroked, so you can evaluate other font-family: _________; possibilities. Generally, you can raise fonts to a consistent font-size: 16px; for readability even before you see how you like font-weight: bold; with the size and font-family. There are several font sizes, uniformity takes a few passes to achieve. Your generally most legible lettering will be black #000000 (change #000 to #000000), dark blue (#000066 or darker), and against dark backgrounds white #FFFFFF (change #FFF to #FFFFFF). You can tint white by adding A or less of other colors to FF of predominant colors. The sequence is two for red, two for green, two for blue. The left four are yellows, the right four are cyans, the outboard four are magentas. You'll see how it works. Make a backup before you start and at intervals.

Some changes will be in .tpl files. The idea of what to change there is the same.
