I am trying to setup recurring billing for an item for once a month billing. The problem is that when a customer tries to checkout, it gives an error "Warning: No Payment options are available. Please contact us for assistance!". I have even tried this on a fresh / clean install (only adding the profile, adding it to an item, and setting up a customer account were only things outside of stock) and got the same result. Am I setting something up wrong? Is there something I need to setup extra for this to work?

You need to use a payment gateway option that supports recurring payments. At this time (on 1.5.6) PayPal express checkout is the only option. More are being added for 2.0
The Authorize.net module does not yet support recurring payments.
Thank you for that reply. It would have been nice to have known that sometime back but hoping it might be something that gets added. I plan to use offline card billing anyway as we perform our own fraud checks prior to processing. I already purchased a module to be able to do it with. With that being said... Do you know if this is something that has to be coded into the payment module or the cart itself?
