I'm trying to exclude the free shipping over $75 rate for the items that are on specials in the catalog. Can't find any plugins with that feature. Any clues on how to achieve that ?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. I could take your statement 3 ways:

1. Trying to set the $75.00 limit as the total including the special products, but at their original prices. If so, then Formula-Based Shipping can do this, by setting the "Value for Total" setting to "Pre-Discounted Sub-Total".

2. Trying to set the $75.00 limit as not including the special products at all. I haven't seen any extension for that, but you may be able to find something in the opencart.com store. If you ended up getting Formula-Based Shipping, I could give you an edit for it that would give that behavior for the "Value for Total" setting.

3. Trying to give free shipping on some items, but not others. In this case, you'll need an extension that accomodates this, as the Free Shipping that is built-in will give free shipping to the entire cart. Product-Based Shipping could work, but you'd need to create a rate that applies only to the products you want, so if you changed the special products you'd have to change it in there. It could be more than you want to manage.

In that case, you may need to hire someone to write a custom modification. If you need to find a developer, I recommend you post a request in the OpenCart "Commercial Support" forum (forum.opencart.com/viewforum.php?f=88), which is checked by a number of OpenCart developers. You can also try checking out the OpenCart "Partners" area (www.opencart.com/index.php?route=partner/partner).

Thanks for the reply.

Don't bother with the $75. I just need a script that would exclude the free shipping plugin to work if the product is on special. I guess I'll have to make the script myself :-\
