Hey guys.

I am trying to add the first image to a new product, take a look on http://wiredleaf.co.uk/vapourizer-starter-kits/leopro.

To see how it SHOULD WORK, please go to http://wiredleaf.co.uk/vapourizer-start ... 510classic.

I am using latest OpenCart 1.5.6. When I view it in Firefox it shows a link!? Then the image I want after the link but then the whole thing is broken.

I am in maintenance mode but the page should load.

I have no idea what is causing it. There is only ONE image in the image section for that specific product. I remember I did something before about images. I had an issue a while ago that I could not add any images to existing products, so I did this: https://github.com/martynas-wm/opencart ... fe1333e87f.

Is this the cause? What can I do from here on out, as its a pain in the backside! All I would like to do is add images normally.

UPDATE: I reverted the changes I made a while back, and I couldn't add any images AT ALL. Does not solve anything.

Thanks guys, any help would be huge for me.

P.S. I am front-end advanced, but this sort of stuff is beyond me.

Preliminarily, did you upload your originals into /image/data/ so that OC could make thumbnails into /image/cache/data/, and were your original images in the kb range at 96 dpi (or otherwise middle-of-road in size and dpi, not teensy, not huge)? And were the uploaded images .jpg, .png, or .gif (rather than other raster formats or any vector formats)?

Hi Butte,

The images are made in photoshop. Saved as JPEG and roughly 52kb with 72pi. To add the image, I simply went into the image manager in the product and uploaded it from my computer.

Other images now also do the same thing. Even though I have a few just the way I want it, such as http://wiredleaf.co.uk/vapourizer-start ... /itastevv3, which is the way I want it, it now seems that any image I add to any product adds this link and breaks the whole thing.

The only thing I've done since the working ones is change 4 files as outlined in my original post, because images didnt add to existing products at all.

Please please help.

HAHA I AM SUCH A GOD DAMN IDIOT!

SOLVED.

You add the first image from Product - Data, not Product - Images.

Reason being is because Images is meant for EXTRA ones.

OMG what a complete idiot I am. Sorry guys, was worried here for like 3 god damn hours!!!!!!

SOLVED.

Actually, you did pretty well, it gave you pause to go through everything with memorable focus, and will stick better than just following the RTFB principle and RTFM subprinciple would have.
