remove fields in admin-create order

Hi there, I have been searching for months but have found nothing.
I am running 1.5.2.1
I am trying to remove required fields in admin/sales/orders/insert (order)
reason being is because we have many phone orders and we do not require many of the fields and required fields.
It seems to be different than the registration process as I keep on getting errors whichever way I go.
I know how to remove the actual field but removing the required part within the controller is another issue.
If anyone can help would be great. or if there is an ext out there please let me know
It is different than modifying the customer registration form. If anyone would be able to make a vqmod would be great.

Were you able to figure this out? I'm in the same situation. I need to often add completely custom products at a certain price for some customers and want to still use the Admin to track orders, manage the customer, etc.
