category Subs ? How to add category subs

Hi just wondering is any body having problems with category subs not showing

How to add category subs ???
has any body seen a post for this on this forum any leads are great appreciated

when you create a new category (or edit an existing one) simply go to the data tab and choose the parent category then it becomes a sub category. This works just fine in a default install.

I have tried to do what you just said but no luck
I refresh the page and nothing happens very strange ???

may the guy that installed it messed up some code
