I need help i am finding that all my product descriptions are cut short. Any idea? I also cant update to 1.5.1 as it says there are issues with the MySQL

looks like a template isseu.
set back to default theme and check that entire description can bee seen.
if so you need to edit your product.tpl template and set amount of displayed characters to desired value.

Where in product.tpl do I look? I have the same problem using version 1.5.6 and I also notice that if I do not add punctuation at the end of the description there are two periods added automatically. How can I fix that. This is a restaurant menu that does not use full sentences.victorj wrote:looks like a template isseu.
