Opencart Needs To Provide Index

Often a certain section or page within opencart needs to be edited for the users specific requirements (as we have had to do). When trying to locate or identify exactly where to find that file (when editing is required) it would be great if opencart provided an online source to help identify or direct you to the specific file where those changes can be made, rather than having to continually post to this community forum all the time for answers. Or have I missed something? Just a though.
