Hi All,

I have url 404 error, when I turn on use SEO url in admin panel.

I had followed the instruction that provided in documentation (http://docs.opencart.com/display/opencart/SEO+keywords), but I found I have .htaccess and .htaccess.txt in my store's root folder.

According to the instruction, I need to change the .htaccess.txt file name to .htaccess. But I already have a .htaccess in the root. I trying to delete .htaccess in the root, then change the .htaccess.txt to .htacess but my store is totally no function after this.

Anybody know how to solve this problem. Thanks.

you need to get your .htaccess.txt file to be .htaccess instead. The current contents you have in .htaccess, move it to somewhere else first.

I try to move the current .htacess to admin folder, then .htacess.txt file change to be .htacess. My website showing 500 internal server error. :'(

I disable the previous .htaccess by renaming it as .htaccess.txt, then the previous .htaccess.txt renaming as .htaccess, it cant work. 500 error again. :(
