What's the point of posting this here if you don't fully understand how things work? It's only the reviews that aren't being seen by the bots....descriptions, attributes, they are all plain fine.
you sound so confident that you know what you are asking for, but I doubt so. What a waste of my time to entertain you to tell you to give up this idea.
Then why bother commenting at all - I would like to see a product page that doesn't use tabs - what are you butting in for? unless you can offer something interesting to say - are you helping? No! - if it's a bitch fest your'e after try a different forum or else say something constructive - if you've nothing else to offer on the subject - then don't comment at all - I didn't post my request to have some would be know it all just argue with me - I already have a highly succesful website that is not built with opencart so I know a few things about SEO already but I'm not suggesting that I'm an expert in the structures that OC use - thats why I posted my suggestion in the first place - I feel that OC could benefit from a plainer product page layout that would be faster to load etc and would offer a customer a better experience at a glance - the days of somebody clicking through tabs to sift information is a leftover from earlier days of ecommerce and that's my opinion.
So edit your product.tpl page and remove the tabs, make any changes you want. Or find a theme that already does this if you cannot code it yourself.
Every store and designer is different and since opencart is open source, feel free to make any changes you want. That's one of the beauties of it - it's totally customizable to anything you want.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
hahaha. nice one. he should totally get it done the way he wants it instead of requesting for a tab in pure css html.labeshops wrote:So edit your product.tpl page and remove the tabs, make any changes you want. Or find a theme that already does this if you cannot code it yourself.

Thankyou Labelshops - Yes I am able to change it myself and I'm aware of what changes are needed also but to that other idiot Marketinsg I'd like to remind him that this forum is for SUGGESTIONS to improve opencart - I posted the thread here who incidently has definitely lost a potential customer such a bright spark that he is or at least considers himself

such wonderful limited vocab shows how well someone is
it is just how amazing someone is telling opencart not to use jquery, java or ajax for a tab
amusing

Have you ever heard of css3? - pure css tabs are VERY achievable even in CSS2 - persistance is achived in other ways - btw my vocabulary in English is a little better than yours - as I said before to you - take your childish whims elsewhereMarketInSG wrote:such wonderful limited vocab shows how well someone isit is just how amazing someone is telling opencart not to use jquery, java or ajax for a tab

You DON'T have to use jquery or Java or Ajax for tabs at all - heavy code isn't necessary these days - I guess bright sparks like you just don't know how - with modern browsers they can be achieved with pure css and html - and there are many exampples out there - but I'm not argueing with a fool like you any more - you just don't get the nature of the topic and want to play on forums instead - you must be very busy taking all those sales and making all those incredibly useless mods you make
you just want the reviews to be indexed, so you should only remove ajax on that part. other than that, all the other information are indexed by the bots. do a search on the forum, someone brought it up before and I remember he failed in persuading daniel
