[vQmod] Fix PayPal Standard unsupported currency

1)Since now, you could use the PayPal Standard payment method ONLY if your currency was one of these:

'AUD',
'CAD',
'EUR',
'GBP',
'JPY',
'USD',
'NZD',
'CHF',
'HKD',
'SGD',
'SEK',
'DKK',
'PLN',
'NOK',
'HUF',
'CZK',
'ILS',
'MXN',
'MYR',
'BRL',
'PHP',
'TWD',
'THB',
'TRY'

2) This vqmod will eliminate the PayPal currency check from your store, allowing PayPal payment method to be valid and displayed on Checkout, no mather what currency you use!
3) Furthermore, this vqmod will convert the value of your order to another currency like EUR, USD or GBP that is accepted by PayPal.
4) After the payment is made via PayPal gateway(in EUR or other) it will then convert the EUR back to your default currency and check if the amounts correspond and a correct payment has been made.

TROUBLESHOOTING
==================================
- Make sure you have the PayPal Standard payment method installed and configured.
- You should convert your order currency to your PayPal account's default/primary currency.
- You MUST have the selected currency installed and the currency conversion already setup.
- This module has only been tested with OpenCart 1.5.4.1 and OpenCart 1.5.5.1.
- It might not work with previous versions of OpenCart, use at own risk. It only virtually modifies OpenCart files, so no need to worry.

I have copied fty_paypal_currency_USD into our website, but it doesnt convert order amount into USD, client still pay with EURO.

Can we have several currencies for store, but only with USD for pp checkout?

Hi,

You didn't understand right. This extension only converts UNSUPPORTED currencies. Euro is a supported currency, that's why it doesn't get converted.

You can have only 1 front-end currency and multiple back-end currency with this module:

You can also have only USD with PayPal, but I will have to create another custom module for this.
