Hello, I'm developing a website using OC for a client and am wondering if it's possible to put a user login "box" on the frontpage. The layout I have requires there to be a login box with email and password field and a "login" button ontop of the main slideshow. I've done this so far simply in the file that controls the slideshow and the input fields etc. show up fine but they aren't linked to anything.
The reason I'm not using an extension is the fact that it needs to be placed ontop of the slidewhow and that seems a bit tricky/not good practice with a ready made extension (correct me if I'm wrong).
So I thought I'd just grab the php code from the account -> login file but that just gives me a whole host of errors.
Anyone who've done something like this and can help me how to best do it?
