I'm having an issue with the USPS Shipping module in that the only shipping options that appear when checking out are
Priority Mail Express 1-Day, Priority Mail Express 1-Day Flat Rate Envelope, Priority Mail 1-Day and Priority Mail 1-Day Flat Rate Envelope regardless of what I have selected in USPS shipping extension. None of the First Class options appear and none of the 2 or 3-day options appear.
This occurs on both 1.5.4.1 and 1.5.6.
I was able to fix the issues with the trademark though... thanks for the help on that.
After much research, I've found that, for all intents and purposes, the USPS extension is working correctly. Shipping services and rates are determined by the address and zip code (for the US) and based upon what the admin has selected in the USPS Shipping extension. In other words, if Priority 1-Day isn't available for a particular customer's mailing address, it won't appear in the USPS shipping options when they're checking out.
There have been a number of posts with corrections to the catalog/model/shipping/usps.php which dealt with a relatively minor housekeeping matter with the<sup>TM</sup> appearing as the customer selected USPS shipping options. Additionally, the array for allowed classes should be 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 13, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 25, 27, 28, 29. 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 (this encompasses all current domestic shipping classes and services. The new classes also need to be reflected in the admin/language/english/shipping/usps.php, admin/template/shipping/usps.tpl and admin/controller/shipping/usps.php.
Updating the above mentioned files with the current USPS classes and services won't make the extension work any differently however, the appropriate USPS shipping titles will appear correctly in the extension configuration.

The Shipping Module... all seems to be connecting well for me but there is a piece of the code that I want to take out and I can't find the file. or where to look. I've looked at everythign that I think might be associated with it.. shipping, checkout..in all its various places.. Help please?
When I go to checkout to test... the delivery method shows up as "Priority Mail 1 Day<sup>""</sup> Where do I find it to take it out?
