Supported OpenCart Versions:
================
All v1.5.x versions

What does it do:
================
Adds an email address verification during registration or checkout process.
Opencart only checks if the email syntax is OK, but this verification also checks if the email address exists.

When a user writes down the email address and clicks on another field, the email address is verified immediately and shows an error message if the email address is not valid.
If the address exists, it will continue successfully with no alert.
If the address doesn't exist, it will display an error message.

In registration process, it´s mandatory to have a valid email address.
In checkout process, it´s not mandatory to have a valid email address (only an error message is displayed).
The reason for this behavious is the customer has been warned, but we will not stop the checkout proccess.
If someone want this option to be mandatory, write me an email and I´ll send the plugin modified or I´ll add an option to choose the behaviour.

Why I need this:
================
Many customers write down the email address wrong (characters missing or wrong). How many customers and orders have you lose because email confirmations did not arrive? How many customers did complain about not receiving an email confirmation of their orders?
Companies like Briteverify charge money for each email verification (http://www.briteverify.com/brite-pricing). With this module you´ll have free email verifications!

Requirements:
==============
* You will need to have the vQmod engine installed (http://vQmod.com)

Main features:
==============
* Simple vQmod script plug and play
* Works with all registration and guest checkout processes.

Hey, this is very useful mod. Glad I've found this one.

But how come there's no feedback yet?

The reason no feedback was given is because this tool doesn't do the job. Let me rephrase it... this tool helps but it is not accurate enough as it depends 100% on automatic responses from email servers. No one can control when an email server or domain is temporarily down in any specific moment. That's why I've learned a long time ago that these heavily promoted online services or software sold as the "magic bullet" to validate emails are not such. In my particular case my preferred vendor to validate email lists is Green Apple Mail - http://www.greenapplemail.com - as they combine the power of technology along with human skills (expertise of their technicians). On top of that they do all the email validation on their end so I don't have to risk my IP reputation doing so.
