I'm a new in Opencart community and i'm searching the most popular and stable version of this shop. My friends said that 1.4.9.x is the most popular, but can't explain why. The migration is difficult or those versions are the best?
I would go for 1.5.4.1.
I'm using it myself (upgraded from 1.4.9.2) and it works fine.
