Item with repeated options

I am building a furniture store and I have a problem with options.

One of the items is composed of three parts, for each of them a certain option (color) has to be chosen from the same list i.e.:

part 1 ---> choose color
part 2 ---> choose color
part 3 ---> choose color

I wonder how I can achieve this: shall I create 3 separate options with the same values and different names?
Is there a better way?

Ok created the first option with its values, duplicated it twice by using this free extension: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... ion%20copy and applied three options to the product.
