Is it just me, or does OC simply suck at Content Management?
Honest question really. Information pages seems to be the only supported way out of the box, with no support for a page hierarchy, menu creation or menu management. This should be basic core functionality for a CMS.
Basically, I need my client to be able to add Content Pages to their OC site.
Pages should be capable of being added to more than just a single menu (without needing to edit templates).
They need the ability to add these pages to hierarchical navigation in the main menu and/or sidebars
e.g.
About Us (top level, appears in main menu)
- Testimonials
- Staff Profiles
- Staff Member 1
- Staff Member 2
- Staff Member n, etc
- Press & media
- Other page(s)
And, if my client decides to add a new menu later on (say Product Training, with multiple hierarchical sub-pages), that they can do that and add it to their main menu navigation WITHOUT requiring another module or having to modify template files.
Is this asking too much? I really hope not.
Can anyone recommend a robust CMS module for OpenCart? I'd rather not cobble together half a dozen modules to accomplish this if possible.
Thanks.
