Calculate Shipping Later Option

Hi,

A number of people seem to have requested this but no one seems to have come up with a solution and I'd be very interested to see if one exists.

We sell outdoor furniture which is bulky and it's almost impossible to add every single possible combination for every single area in Australia.

What we would like to do is have two options available:

1) Pickup from Store
2) During checkout, let the customer know that we will be getting back to them with shipping costs. Everything else stays as is. Once we calcualate the shipping cost we inform them of the cost, adjust invoice and send to them for payment.

Anyone have any solutions?

I can help with only part of the problem:

You can enable and rename the Free shipping module to something like this:

in /catalog/language/english/shipping/free.php
