1) If someone places an order, they do receive a confirmation email from the website, BUT I do not receive an email that an order has been placed.
2) Also, If someone submits the form from the "Contact Page", the email does not get sent to me. I thought that it might have been an issue with email being routed through my hosting company, so I switched my email address (under Systems/Settings/mystore/.. under both the General & Mail tabs) to my normal "Verizon" email.
Still no email. Is there something else that I need so set somewhere?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Wow, I finally figured it out, but didn't want to just delete my post, as I am sure others run into this issue.
All I had to do was to remove my email address from under the “System/Settings/mystore/Mail Tab”. Left it blank.
Note: My email address is still under the "general" tab though.
Fixed both issues.
