Latest products RSS feed extension SSL

Hello,

when I modifty settings in order to install it I get this error:

SSL connection error
Unable to make a secure connection to the server. This may be a problem with the server, or it may be requiring a client authentication certificate that you don't have.

I guess that it happens because I am not using an https secure server. Is it not possible to use this extension without a https?
