Hi, I need help with finding solution for my cart where I have few items that will be shipped for a flat fee, BUT i want an additional fee to be charged for items purchased more than 5, i.e., Flat Rate + Fee for the sixth item onwards (not the first five items). So the example is If customer purchases 10 items then the shipping cost will be $5 flat + $2 per item above first five items (i.e., 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th items) , so 5 items above first five items , i.e, 5 x $2 + $5 = $20.
So the question is how to configure this in opencart. If it is not possible, then can I get any extension.
I have searched google as well as opencart for shipping extensions. There are many, but i dont know which one suits me or I can configure with.
Please help.
For a free option: you could set the weight of each item to 1, and then use the built-in Weight Based Shipping to charge a rate like this:
5:5.00, 6:7.00, 7:9.00, 8:11.00, 9:13.00, etc.
For a quicker setup and more functionality, you can also do this with Item-Based Shipping.
