This extension expands openCart's basic affiliate-related functionality and allows you to construct and run full-featured affiliate programs with variety of setting and possibilities.

Advanced Multi Tier Affiliate System

Features:

- ability to create and use unlimited number of affiliate schemes, each containing up to 50 levels (tiers) of sub-affiliates with customized commission amounts.

- different schemes can be attached to any number of affiliates, products, product + discount, product + special, product + coupon, product + affiliate combinations etc.

- percentage-based or fixed amount commission.

- configurable to calculate commission before or after shipping / handling / taxes.

- ability to automatically approve new affiliates, configurable per level.

- ability to automatically add commission to affiliate's accounts, configurable per level.

- each percentage-based scheme has its' own tracking code, which can be used to signup new affiliates to a particular scheme.

- openCart's built-in tracking code, which is used to track customers, is also used to track sub-affiliate signups.

- logged-in affiliates can obtain links with their tracking code while just browsing the site.

- easier payouts - ability to see both current balance and total earnings, accounts that haven't provided their payout information etc.

- uses vQmod (ocmod in openCart 2) - none of the original openCart files are modified. Database modifications are minimal and non destructive.

The problem must have been with custom language files. This was fixed in more recent versions.

Hello,

Just bought your great module yesterday night and installed 15 minutes after buying. I have OC 1.5.3.1 and I think I have installed it accordingly to the instructions. But now I can't go to any product or to SYSTEM > MULTI TIER AFFILIATE because I get this error:

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '.../system/library/dompdf/include/modelmtamtascheme.cls.php' (include_path='.') in .../system/library/dompdf/dompdf_config.inc.php on line 208

Any clue on why is this happening ?

Obviously it's because of DomPDF. I'm not sure why are you posting in this thread when you have an email address for support requests in the ReadMe file, and i have emailed you already after your comment on the extension page (which is not the place for support requests either).

I can't know for sure, but i suspect that the version of DomPDF used by some of your extensions is old. Upgrading to most recent DomPDF ( version 0.6.0 ) should solve the problem.

I'm setting up several stores (100 or so) that will run from a single (1) database and a single (1) admin panel.

each store will have it's own look and feel, and be assigned to an affiliate.

My question is this...

1) Will your system track multiple stores and will I be able to view them in one location in my admin panel?

2) Will the affiliate be able to log-in to their own affiliate back-end to monitor their sales progress and commissions?

Not sure how are you going to assign a store to an affiliate? Anyway, this is extension's built on top of openCart's regular affiliate functionality, it doesn't replace openCart affiliates with something else, just expands it. Therefore, if it works with openCart's regular affiliates, it'll probably work with the extension.

Well now it seems to be working.

Ocmta, Thank you for the information my friend.

I installed the demo as you suggested and must say I am very impressed. I very much liked having the ability to log into my affiliate account and create a link to any page I am on, including the home page.

However, I'm not really looking to create Multi Tier Affiliates.
I simply want to setup additional stores using sub-domains (i.e. store2.mystore.com, store3.mystore.com, etc.) and assign those stores to my affiliates. The affiliate owns the store.

When customers enter the affiliate store (store2.mystore.com) no matter how they get there (directly, or through an affiliate link) the affiliate gets commission.

All categories, products, order fulfillment, look and feel, etc. are handled by the parent store, and the parent stores database (one database).

I also need an efficient way of populating the new stores/affiliates products and categories. Most of the new stores will be carrying the same products and categories as the parent store, but simply have a different look and feel.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

You don't need this extension to do that, what you need is some manipulation with startup files to attach proper tracking code to an URL based on subdomain / store. I doubt there is some extension or something you can just use, you'll probably need to hire a programmer to do that. It's not very complicated, but not very easy either.

As for populating stores, you might search for some import extensions.

Wish I had some money to hire a programmer my friend but I'm working with very little to no money, and I'm going to have to modify this code every time I add a new affiliate, which might get quite expensive.

Hopefully someone will pipe in with a quick solution that I can manage myself.

Thanks for the heads up on the import extensions, I'll take a look at those.

Not sure why you think you'll have to modify code every time, if it's programmed correctly you won't need to modify it at all, you'll only need to associate affiliate with the store via some kind of interface in admin. I very much doubt there is any easier solution.

Ah, I see said the blind man... understood.
I was talking to a guy the other day from Russia who seems to know OpenCart pretty well. As a matter in fact, he's the one that got me to switch over from Magento. I'll look him up and see what he thinks.

Hi i am using oc1541 locally on my computer and I installed the demo version of MTA...if i select a product and go to commission tab and in product section select 5 plus 5 percent instead of default then save it everything works ok...but if I try to do the same for a second product...when I save the product I get an IIS 7.5 http error 500...then if I go to catagog/product I get the IIS 7.5 http error 500.0 also and can not view my products...If I go to phpmyadmin and delete one of the two entries in the table mta_product the IIS 7.5 http error 500 no longer occurs...Is there a reason for this...will the full version behave the same way...am I not using the module the correct way?

No, it shouldn't behave this way, but unless you can give me more information about the error or ftp access so i could look myself i don't think i can help with that. It's the first time i hear about error like this and have no idea what the reason could be.

I attached a print screen of the error...since i am working locally on my computer I can not give ftp access...if you need the trace log files i can email them to you in a zip

This screen doesn't tell much. If you have any other kind of error logs - trace, openCart's error log or vqmod log etc., you can send them to my email which you can see in the ReadMe file.
