Hi I just launched my website https://www.envogafragrance.co.uk and I would like to know some feedbacks.
regards,
regards,
You've done well. You have something to be happy about. Now take a deep breath.
Viewed in current Firefox on a laptop 1280 wide, the very bottom crossbar (below the footer) is wide enough but everything else is only about 60% of screen width, so whatever content="width=device-width,minimum-scale=1.0" is supposed to do is not happening. The narrowed categorical crossbar menu is in two rows, the bottom row interferes with making choices in the top row (for example, shop by brand is not happening, unless the mouse is tediously moved around the second row's barn). With wider presentation, Information and Wikiscents will wind up in the same single row with the others now above it, there will be no conflict, and the unused 40% of the screen will be used. In the footer the doubled-up lines will spread out to single lines. Very few people now have screens narrower than 1024, except for various portable devices. If you are optimizing for those, fine, but on a computer it resembles a motorcyclist straddling the line between two lorries in their lanes. Why is the brownish bar with the two arrows and heart overlying the images?
Exhale. You have done well, just polish it up a tad.

Sorry but I am not following you, can upload a picture so yo can share with me that feedback? I will appreciated
First, try this. If the screen is this wide . . .
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
. . . then what I'm seeing is outboard blank space (x) and inboard content (Z) along these lines . . .
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
. . . and accordingly the middle 60% is way too narrow between sides that are way, way, way too wide.
If you can, try looking at it from a couple of computers other than your own. Also hit Control0 to rezero the zoom (Control+ enlarges, Control- shrinks, Control0 resets zoom) in your browser. (Which browser are you using?)
The code snippet from HEAD is not matching "devices" in at least one outright computer's instance. Setting width as suggested to "100%" will match whatever computer monitor (crt or lcd, alike) is used. Hand-held devices have very narrow screens but current browsers for them allow enlarging and scrolling about by fingers, and they generally won't see all of anything anyway unless its specially narrowed for them.

OH now I understand what u mean, well I am using firefox as a browser but well didnt have this problem looking the website on my laptop but now u said this I got that result looking up on my tablet and yes probably is quite annoying and is on my ''to do'' list. so probably soon I will keep on track hehehe.
Meanwhile, while off-line it occurred to me that you might be using a tablet or cellphone, but you already see what's going on. I would dump that code snippet (above, "devices") and slip in (.css, in-line, or both) "95%" (or thereabouts, you may want to fall a tad short of 100%, but 90+% should do the trick). Keep us, um, posted.
Whilst I like the overall look of the website (the banner images are crystal clear and look very professional) there are a few minor critiques and observations...
1) I am not sure I like the toolbar that stays at the bottom of the screen. It gets in the way of the products themselves when I scroll down to view them. This could become very annoying over time.
2) Under your best sellers section you appear to have 3 images. One is Gautier, one is Lacoste and the other I cannot say as I can only see half of it but it appears to be some sort of voucher? The same goes for the smaller logos underneath this, I cannot see all of the first one. I am using Firefox 21.0 on 1280 x 1040
3) On your Contact Us page you have the main contact form but then lower down (quite a bit lower) you have the email link. It seems a bit odd to have this under the Tweet Feed section when it is on the Contact Us page. I would also add a telephone number here if you are going to be providing telephone assistance, as given the nature of the products you sell I am sure someone would want to make sure you are a genuine retailer of these high-end brands before giving their card details on your website.
4) You have Returns listed in the footer twice. Once under Information and once under Customer Service. The Information list is already quite long so I would drop it from there.
5) The Visa logo you have used is outdated - replace with an up to date logo.
6) Your Blog Posts section takes up a lot of room
7) You have a red faded bar over each product thumbnail which means you can't see the full image - this seems a bit odd. I would move this under the thumbnails instead. The arrow and heart icons don't have hover-over description to tell you what they are for.
I appreciate some of these may be due to browser/resolution issues so if you want any screen shots sending just PM me your email address.
Hope this helps!
